Phil Nicholas - Angie Cooke

I am 45 years old, living with my partner and two kids in Leek, Staffordshire. My writing career has only just taken off in the last few years, always yearned to take it up, finally got a chance to do so with a friend and neighbour, we started touring the golf clubs of our county producing our own magazine, entitled Staffordshire Golfer. Two and a half years and 12 issues later we've grown into PlayGolf Midlands and I estimate we've visited 200 plus golf clubs within our region and beyond. Course reviews, travel features, plus tales of our golfing adventures have all come under my writing remit, its been a wonderful experience, and the reaction to the articles i've written has encouraged me to promote myself to a wider world. I intend to write not just about golf but other sports too, and hopefully along the line I can gain the confidence to emerge from my comfort zone and enter the world of current affairs, its a learning curve and all feedback ,positive or not will be gladly appreciated.
